GPS is a cleantech (waste management) product company based out of Bangalore. It had been started in 2010 primarily by alums of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, India’s top bschool. The firm is currently in the process of rolling out its inaugural product, the Ecoorja - the most compact bWTE (biowaste-to-energy) plant of its kind - and the only bWTE solution based on a ready-to-assemble nature - making the firm significantly fast as compared to others. With the Ecoorja, GPS intends to open up a huge global market which is still largely untapped. As per GPS' estimates, in India alone, this is a 4+ billion dollar market.

On the technology front, GPS has associations with research institutions across the world who work closely with the product team. On the business front, it is being nurtured by i2india, the Indian wing of Imperial Innovations, one of UK’s top technology commercialization funds with the experience of over 100 spinoffs in the past 20 years.
